Knuth and her husband Calvin were heading to a friend’s house for dinner, in Galveston, when their car broke down. While Calvin was going to get help, Knuth decided to walk to her Beaumont home.
Knuth, however, did not make it home. She was abducted and taken to a remote area of Galveston County Beach.
